About Us EventMasters opened for business in Truckee in 1995 and is owned and operated by John and Kay Witney. In September, 2000 they were awarded the title of ‘Small Business of the Year’ by the Truckee-Donner Chamber of Commerce and March 2003 saw their expansion into South Lake Tahoe.
